This policy explains how REISCAPE DESIGN STUDIO, based in Toronto, Canada, handles personal information through this website, enquiries and Reiscape Booking, our consultation scheduling service. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to info@reiscape.com, attention: Renata Reis.
Information we use
When you contact us or book a consultation, we use the information you provide, such as your name, email address, business name, appointment time, time zone and enquiry details. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
For paid consultations, we keep booking identifiers, payment status and the information needed to connect your payment to your appointment. Stripe collects payment and billing details directly through its hosted checkout. Our booking application does not receive or store your full card number or security code.
Hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and error logs. The booking service uses a hashed IP-based identifier to limit repeated requests and prevent abuse.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, check availability, reserve appointments, process payments, send calendar invitations and meeting links, deliver consultations and related work, provide support, prevent duplicate bookings and fraud, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Booking a consultation does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.
Google Calendar and Reiscape Booking
Reiscape Booking connects to a calendar account authorized by Reiscape. It checks busy periods to avoid scheduling conflicts and creates or updates consultation events in the connected calendar. Events can include the attendee’s name and email, appointment details and a Google Meet link. Google processes those details to provide calendar invitations and meetings.
Customers do not need to give Reiscape access to their personal Google Calendar to book. Accepting an invitation or choosing “Add to your calendar” is separate from connecting the studio’s calendar. We do not use calendar access to read Gmail messages.
Information obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide and support the scheduling features described here. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Reiscape Booking’s use and transfer of Google API information follows the Google API Services User Data Policy and applicable Google Workspace user data rules, including their Limited Use requirements.
The connected account owner can revoke access through Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not automatically delete existing appointments, payment records or booking records. Contact us to request deletion of records we hold.
Service providers and sharing
We use Netlify for website hosting and booking infrastructure, Google Calendar and Google Meet for scheduling and meetings, and Stripe for payment processing and receipts. Information you send through email or WhatsApp is also processed by the provider you use to contact us. If we deliver your consultation roadmap through Notion, information needed for that deliverable is processed there.
We share information as needed to deliver these services, with people supporting the work who need access, or when legally required. Providers may process information outside Canada, where local laws may permit access by authorities. Their own privacy policies also apply to their services: Netlify, Google, Stripe and Notion.
Browser storage and external links
The audit booking interface uses temporary browser session storage to let you return to an unfinished Stripe checkout. That entry is removed after confirmation and ordinarily ends when the browser session closes. Payment providers may use their own cookies and similar technologies for checkout and fraud prevention.
Links to social media, videos and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. This policy does not govern those services.
Retention and security
We retain information for the purposes described above, including providing services, resolving booking or payment issues and meeting applicable accounting or legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of record and the reason it is held. You can ask us about a particular record or request deletion; some information may need to be retained for legal obligations or an unresolved transaction.
We use HTTPS and server-side storage for integration credentials, and restrict access to booking information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, ask about its use, or withdraw consent for optional uses by emailing info@reiscape.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Withdrawing information needed to provide a booking or service may prevent us from completing it. We will explain any applicable limits on your request.
Our services are intended for business clients and are not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.
Changes and contact
